Now we don’t mean to blow our own trumpets, but…oh okay, maybe a little…. we won!
The Wahanda team are pleased as punch to announce that we’ve been placed in the ‘Top 100 Start-Ups of 2010’, and we’re in the top fifty no less. At no. 38, we’re in good company. The list includes such fabulous and diverse start-up companies as Three Sixty Entertainment, Naked Wines and Levi Roots’ Reggae Reggae.
Described as ‘the ultimate hitlist of the UK’s best new businesses’, the table describes its methodology as ‘unashamedly unscientific…..This is our list of who we think are the best, most exciting, promising, disruptive new businesses and entrepreneurs shaping the start-up market right now.’
And whilst we’re on the subject, this isn’t the first time that Wahanda has been recognised for a prestigious award. Before Christmas, ELLE Magazine voted us one of their ‘Best Online Beauty Websites 2009’, saying, ‘If you’re looking for spa treatments, Wahanda is the website for you. Rather than having to trawl individual spas and salons, it’s collated all the info in one place’.
As if that wasn’t enough to make us blush, in September last year those lovely people at FabSugar wrote us a glowing review, naming us the Best UK Beauty Website of 2009, with a special nod to our brilliant vouchers and 2 for 1 deals.
But enough about our achievements so far. We’d better get back to work- lots of people still to impress and so little time…
